My heart goes out to you, it breaks to know you are hurting so. I know you have probably heard this from others but she is with you. Sit outside sometimes and tune into what is going on around you. When the wind blows your hair, think of it as her brushing your hair or when a tear falls on your cheek it is a kiss from her. I know it sounds silly but it has helped me get through some of my tough times missing my mom. My prayers are with you.

Type: Loss of a ParentI lost my mother and best friend on March 10, 2008. She was a single mother of two college students just starting their lives. Myself, 27 with two years in architecture left, and my brother 25, who will graduate this December. It is strange to go from talkig to her everyday and about everything to having no one to talk to and get excited over the changes in my life. I don't really have any other family. What makes it so hard, I'm living her dream, she always wanted to do what I'm doing now.
Treatments
- Crying Somewhat Helpful
- Feels better briefly, but simply exhauted afterwards.
- Keeping Busy Not Working
- My mind just wonders back to her because I want to call her and tell her what I'm doing.
- Prayer Working / Worked
- Finding a calmness that hepls me deal somewhat better.
- Talking Somewhat Helpful
- To tell someone what we shared makes me feel somewhat better because I remember. But in the end I miss her even more.
