      Treatments

      Brace Not Working
      Wore at night only for one year. May have slightly slowed progression, but did not cure. I believe it compressed my torso at a critical time of growth--not a big fan. But the alternative is not so great either.
      Harrington Rods Working / Worked
      At 18 I had an anterior spinal fusion in the lower back--4 fused vertabrae. Initially complete correction of curvature, but settled to about a 25 degree permanent curve.
