About Me
I'm married to a really nice guy, we bought a house almost a yr ago out in the country, actually 2miles from where I grew up.We are owned by 2Labs and one cat.I have a daughter and grandson that live in NC, also have a son and 2grandsons that live in Florida, I miss them all so much, but they had to move away from this area because of the economy.I'm blessed to have both my parents still with me and they still live in my home I grew up in.I've had fibromyalgia since I was 26, just got really bad in 2006 after a car accident. I still choose to work, I babysit twin girls and their brother 2-3days a week, the moms a teacher so its nice I'm off on all Holidays and I work 1day a week during the summer.We are raising my husbands grandaughter who just turned 11 and she has adhd, and several other problems, so thats very stressful for us both.I have been through alot of things in life, just like all of us, so I'm at the point where if I want to do something I do it, anything I've ever dreamed of doing I try to do it, the one thing I always wanted to do is get a tatoo, so this July I'm going to do that, I feel lifes to short to sit around and just say I wish I did this or I wish I could do that, so now I do something about it.I let people push me around and control me to many yrs so now I'm making up for that. I'm trying to be me and not what someone else whats me to be!!!

Interests
I enjoy spending time with my family, exspecially my children and grandsons when I can. I love my kids I babysit, they are like my own grandchildren. I love animals, when the weather is nice I love to be outside, exspecially with my dogs, Tipper and Blaze. I enjoy watching movies. My husband and I like going to flea markets and we like looking for antiques.We just enjoy spending time together, working in the yard, fixing up the house or whatever needs done, he says we're a team so we help each other with whatever we can, its great to have someone to help me, I spent alot of yrs trying to be super woman, can't do it anymore!! I Love talking to people and meeting people, I love DS its been a life saver for me, I have some wonderful friends on here. I know I can count on them!!!

Close Fibromyalgia
Ill be 44yrs old in July. I have had fibormlalgia since I was 26 or 27yrs old. Going through a dissolution right now. I have a daughter who is 21yrs old and she has a son who is almost 4yrs old.She lives about 10mins away from me. My son is 24yrs old he lives in Florida he has a wife and two boys 2 and 3 yrs old. I've got to see those grandsons only once. I enjoy spending time with my family and I love children. I don't work anymore, trying to get disability.
Treatments
- Aqua Therapy Working / Worked
- I use to belong to a club I could go to but can't anymore. but hot showers work wonders for me in the morning first thing when I get up
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- It works great I tried to get off of it and found out how much it helped, no side effects
Close Prescription Drug Abuse
HI, I have fibromyalgia and I'm in chronic pain everyday at some level, was 26 when I got it and now I'll be 45 in july, so I have been on some kind of pain pills ever since then. It stinks cause I need them for pain and then I take them even when I don't need them, wasn't always that way but is now. So I want to talk to people who can relate.
