Close Trichotillomania (Hair Pulling)
Type: TrichotillomaniaI started when I was about 5. My natural lashes were falling out and my mother suggested I lightly pull to get rid of loose ones before they fell out. I was off and running with this trich. I have pulled my lashes and brows for about 47 years now. Just recently finding long-term success. I have not totally quit, but am really close. I also pick scabs, ingrown hairs, anything 'out of place'.
Close Fibromyalgia
I got fibro about 10 years ago. I have struggled with the severe exhaustion and the pain, but I think the exhaustion is the worst. i feel like I missed out on my son's teen years while I slept on the couch. I have 3 sons. He is my youngest. I had to quit working due to missing so many 'sick days'.
