Close Cerebral Palsy

- I go to a physical therapy center three times a week
Close Hearing Loss & Deafness
Type: Conductive (Severe)I have hearing lost in both ears
Treatments
- Hearing Aids Working / Worked
- I have them on both ears. They are amazing and I am able to hear a lot of different sounds that I wasn't able to hear before I got them.
- Lip Reading Working / Worked
- Now I don't have to rely on being able to try to understand what people are saying
Open Eczema
I have eczema on my hands, arms, back, legs and ankles. I use Eucerin and it helps a lot. Its annoying sometimes when it flares up really bad.
Treatments
- Eucerin Working / Worked
- It is the best product ever. It has help so much, my skin is smother and less red. It sort of stops the itching but after a while it starts up again--after about 5 hours, but it is still great.
Open Dyslexia
I mix up letters and sometimes numbers in math class, add different endings to words when I read, and use spell check for almost every thing
Open Asthma
Type: Exercise-Induced AsthmaI have athletic asthma of all types, even though I have CP that doesn't stop me from running around with my friends. I only use my inhaler when i run, swim or walk for long distances at a fast pace.
Treatments
- Albuterol Working / Worked
- it works when ever I need it. It doesn't taste all that great, but when I run or breath deeply from doing something that involves moving a lot I can feel it working immediately, which is always good.
Open Sciatica
Its mainly in my low back and hips,but travels down to my ankles once in a while.
Treatments
- Stretching Working / Worked
- I am going to physical therapy for CP and my therapist is now going to have to help me deal with sciatica. I switched therapists so he is going to help me with my painful movements and try to lessen it.
Open Bereavement - Teens
My grandpa died May 17, 2008. I was extremly close to him and visited him every chance I got. Doing the summers was when I stayed the longest. At least two months. My grandmother died January 29th 2009.

- Keeping Busy Somewhat Helpful
- I write anything and everything. It helps, but it doesn't completely work. I still burst into tears.
- Remembering Too Soon to Tell
- Remembering all the stories he told me and all the time we spent together just talking.

- my friends are understanding and helpful and my family is extremly supportive

Open GERD & Heartburn
I have always had stomach pain. I have acid reflex and it started to happen more and more as I have gotten older.
Treatments
- Antacids Somewhat Helpful
- It helps for sort time relief
- Raising Bed Position Somewhat Helpful
- I raised my bed about a foot and it has helped
