I’m With You
I am a brand new amputee as of 2 weeks ago. Between the phantom pain & the horror stories of ppl falling, I am almost afraid to do anything. But I really understand that phantom pain. So far heat seems to ease mine..just wish it would go away. :(

I am still around and doing great! Sorry that I have not been on here much.I bought a house and have been busy getting everything in its place and trying to decorate it up some,and it takes me forever to do things now.But really I am doing great just really do not have much time to get on the computer any more. Close Chronic Pain
About 2 years ago I started having problems with pain when I walked that stopped when I stopped walking. I went through 8 surgeries last year and the left leg works fine now but I had to have my right leg amputated above the knee.I have vascular disease.
Treatments
- Lyrica Not Working
- The phantom is still terrible with the lyrica but neuraton helped some.
- Marijuana Working / Worked
- It relaxes me enough that the phantom pain isn't so bad.Thanks for adding this catagory
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- I'm still in pt and am now walking with a new leg and a cane
Close Arteriosclerosis
I had 5 angios and they all worked until the last one where I lost my right leg above the knee. This is the group for me!
