Saw the post on the support group.... He is isolating you so that you have no place to turn to. Once you have been sucessfully isolated abuse may get worse. When I left my ex, I had already lost all my friends... and even my best friend. My only friends became those here on DS. I had found DS and eventually started admitting everything I was going through so I could stop denying how bad it really was. In my head I still deny a lot of things. At least I no longer have a "physical memory" of him yanking my head side to side violently by grabbing my hair. :( ~Ruby Please don't let him isolate you. Don't let him find DS and keep all your passwords secret. Make sure you banking information is separate as well, if you have to start a bank account in a different bank. Abusers also abuse us financially too...
