Yesterday was a beautiiful day, and I'm so used to being able to go out and enjoy those days. Well, I had a rude awakening. For, only the second time ever, and the first time since my Lupus diagnosis the sun was my enemy. I kind of forgot that I should protect myself against it and sat in the sun for about 15 mins, and acme back in with an ominous rash on my forearms and chest. I knew then that I had made a big mistake. By later that night I had a fever, fatigue, and joint pain. I'm discovering that my life is changing, and I have to figure out a way to live with Lupus, and to not let it run me.
