      I am a 56 years old wife and mother and have suffered with migraines and daily headaches for over 40 years. I've been diagnosed with a mild chirari malformation (doesn't cause the headaches though). I just spent 9 days in the hospital being monitored for my headaches trying to find SOMETHING that would help. Didn't find anything so far. We did find some things that didn't work though so the next time, we know what not to try. I got back to work in three days.

      I have suffered from migraines for about 40 years and am currently under a doctors care. I'm better than I was 6 months ago but still having major problems.

      Treatments

      Axert Working / Worked
      Only allowed to take 3 Axert weekly.
      Magnesium Working / Worked
      400 mg. daily for approx. 2 months
      Effexor Too Soon to Tell

    • Close Arnold-Chiari Malformation

      I was diagnosed with a Level 1 Chiari 2 years ago. I saw a new neurosurgeon on 6/24/09 and he recommended surgery.
