30 yr old with Endometriosis and Fibromyalgia. Endo since young teen. After years of pleading I finally had a sub-total hysterectomy 2 yrs ago. Docs wouldn't take everything out like I wanted. So...still in pain! Fibro started after hysterectomy. Very happily married 9 years to a wonderful guy.

I would love to be your friend!
I see you are a fellow bellydancer as well!! Even if you can't physically dance anymore, you ARE STILL a dancer if it's in your heart and soul...that's how I see it!
Fortunately, I can still dance and go to classes...just not like I used to. It is harder and sometimes I skip class because I'm just too tired and hurt too much. I try not to think about the day when I will no longer be able to.

Had Endometriosis since age 12. Finally officially diagnosed in 2005. Very validating to see the endo from surgery pics. Had sub-total hysterectomy 2 years ago at age 28. Helped the uterus cramping and excessive bleeding but I'm still in pain. I have tried too many treatments to even list here and have found no relief. I'm currently being told that my endo doesn't exist any longer which is not true. I cannot seem to find the right doc to help me.
Treatments
- Extended-Cycle Birth Control Somewhat Helpful
- Not taking now but would take the edge off the pain.
- Laser Surgery Not Working
- No better.
- Ortho Evra Not Working
- No improvement. Wasn't on it long.
- Progesterone Cream Not Working
- No difference.
- Provera Not Working
- Was on this a short time. Not sure why really. I refused to continue using it because the hormone is manufactured in an inhumane way with horses.
- Surgery Somewhat Helpful
- Sub-total Hysterectomy at age 28. Obviously stopped the uterus pain but that's about it.
- Lupron Somewhat Helpful
- Again took the edge off the pain but not for long.

- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Too Soon to Tell
Open Pet Bereavement
