What I Got From DS
I have gotten lots from D.S. Information, Support, Understanding BUT I never thought I'd find the LOVE OF MY LIFE!. I never thought …
I am an early retired 56 year old Software developer recently moved to Missoula to a less stressful situation. I don't drive anymore but walk and use the bus system to get around. I have a positive outlook, love theater, cinema and the few good friends that I have. I was married for 22 years (too many of which were not blissful) but I had always believed marriage was forever plus I had 3 kids (2 older boys and youngest daughter who is now 18 and in college).

Lots of stuff. Life. I love being alive and learning new things or about new things. I always enjoyed reading and believe the ability to read is the greatest gift we can give to our children or anyone. Now I enjoy reading histories (not as fast as I was). I like the outdoors, used to backpack but don't do that anymore. Want to ski again, heck, I skied right up until I was diagnosed so why not now? I walk for exercise so I am intrigued by trying some wilderness walks, who knows? I enjoy live theater as well as cinema. I like lectures which makes living in a University town particularly convenient. Basically, I just love life (in spite of those times when things seem down). I love meeting any of you new people here!

My HERO! I love you! XXX000XXX
First diagnosed in '94 after having brain surgery for a mis-diagnosed "hydrocephalous" in '92. Tried the interferon drugs but am now on Copaxone and LDN (Naltrexone).
Born MO, raised SOCAL. Traveled through Europe before married (at almost 30) and only work related during marriage. Can't say it was a great marriage, but did last for 23 years. First few years wife and I had great sex but diminished over time. Divorded for 5 years now and I would not only love a close female friend but wouldn't mind sexual closeness.
