Prayer
I am so sorry that you lost your mom..I know the feeling I lost mine in 1999 to cancer also..one thing we have to remember is that she is in a better place, I know that at this time it is hard for you to look at it like that but each day gets better...hugs and all my prayers to you and your family....

My thoughts and prayers are with you Kathleen -- our mom sounds like a wonderful woman and reading this today makes it even more difficult. I've had MM for 6 years and am facing relapse now --I take your words that she is no longer in pain to heart -- at least she is at peace. Close Multiple Myeloma
Stage: IImy mother has been diagnosed with MM just a week ago. She will start Alkaran (mephalan) tonight & radiation on Monday april 7. The hematologist also recommended Kyphoplasty for a compressed fractured vertebra (at T11). My mom is 71 years old.
Treatments
- Zometa Working / Worked
- just had one treatment so far. not sure of side effects as my mom also started fentenyl pain patch, which made her very drowsy.
