Coffee On My Deck
A cup of hot coffee
The plaintiff sound of a far away lawnmower
The swooshing sound of traffic on a nearby street
A dog barks
Wind chimes tinkling lightly
A monarch floating purposefully from blossom to blossom
Fluffy seed pods drifting by in the breeze
Gray clouds with puffs of white
Patches of blue
Tops of the pampas grass swaying gently
A cool breeze disturbs the leaves
Tree tops moving in unison
A broken branch point upward
Yellow and purple pansies are still full of color and beauty
Small white butterflies flitting from flower to flower
Crepe myrtles alive with bright white, soft lavender, and gaily red blossoms
Lee laying close by ever watchful
Coffee is gone.

The one thing I miss after selling our house is the patio. How I loved sitting there is the early morning wrapped in a robe drinking coffee. Happy memories. Thanks for sharing. Sharon
