I think I'll stick with the new browser as DS works so much faster and my serenity is getting better! I'm not yelling at the screen any more! I've been doing the gym thing in the mornings and my foot is feeling better but I have to wear shoes from the moment I get out of bed in the morning. I'm a barefoot kinda guy!
Bought the blinds for my living room yesterday and after getting one set out of the box and holding it up to the window, I changed my mind! I took them back today after my gym session. I'll figure something out. Back to the catalogs for ideas!

Stopped by and saw my friend Walter this afternoon.
I went with plain cream colored sheers to replace the rose pattern sheers that were up. They're light enough to keep the room bright and yet still provide a modicum of privacy. I put the valances back up but I may take them down just for a different "look". Whatever it was yesterday that had my stomach in knots is gone today! Yeah! So far I've had a breakfast bar and a small salad w/Tostitos. I have my usual Thursday night get together thie evening.

I had sheers in my livingroom, and I changed them to blinds. I really like them(for a change) but they are a booger to keep clean ! LOL I'm sure you will come up with somethin' you like -sooner or later .LOL Glad you foot is getting better!!!!!! HAGD Joe- hugs to ya Donna

I had blinds in my last home. They are are a pain to keep clean. Happy with my shades, easier to keep clean. Just wish I could come up with a solution as to window treatments. I need something easy to take down and clean.......Still thinking and looking at catalogs........Glad your foot is feeling better. Hugs, my friend, Pat

What kind of 'blinds' did you get? Not venetian I hope! Love my cellulars! Hope you find something you like too! Just finished all the painting and now the huge cleanup! Ugh!

I ended up getting those duette shades after Jim died. I had only curtains and needed MORE privacy... Alright, I admit it I was scared... We have had so much rain, and storms here for June and now into July it is not real.. Flooding,hail everywhere. Today is cloudy, but NO rain, supposed to be pretty good throughout the weekend with just a CHANCE of showers. We even had a tornado warning yesterday, very scary... I am trying to dry out my cellar a bit now. Not alot of water got in, but enough to make it a bit musty. Also running a dehumidifier. May have to get another.. I am glad that your feet are better. I was having issues with my WHOLE foot aching, they took x-rays, no arthritis. I was told to possibly go to a neurologist... Was it your whole foot that ached or just your heel, I forgot.. It comes and goes but it just hurts to walk sometimes. I can't blame it on my shoes, they have been the same, NO high heels for me, or being on my feet all day. Sometimes I can do nothing, and they still hurt. Not all the time, but flareups... Well, good look in the window treatment dept. Try looking into the cellular duettes..... Have a good night... Hugs.

I have the large wooden blinds and my sheers are over them. they look wonderful. the color is in the sheers. I have 2 sheers that are mauve in the middle and 1 on each side of the mauve for the look. its beautiful. long draped scarf over the top and draped will take a pic. their very nice and give you alot of privacy. their are 4 sheers on each window. large rod iron rod they go thru with designs on both ends in puter. hugs gail
