Today was Kearsten's big adventure. I actually went into Seattle for something other than a doctor's appointment. Since the kids are off this week we took them to the aquarium and decided to play the role of tourist and go on the duck ride around the city. It was a lot of fun. We were only out and about for 5 hours where I did not do too much (well at least I thought) but the second we got home I got sick to my stomach and needed to take a nap. I am sure I will pay more tomorrow. Good news is the kids had fun and I know I can get out once in a while. It is always good to test yourself when you can.

I SO know what you mean!! You expressed it very well. I know your kids loved it. Sometimes we go out of our boundaries for something joyful even knowing we will pay. But the good feelings last.

Some of the most fun times with my children was when we went to aquariums and the zoo. Just to watch their faces and amazment.

So happy you had fun with the kids! I don't get out much unless I'm seeing the doctor, just as you said.
Those good days with the kids and grandkids and friends make it worth it all though. We have to break out of the box sometimes...even though we know we will pay...it's worth it!!
