Pain getting better!!!

I have increased my dosage of lyrica to 300mg and I'm finally having little or no pain again!!!! Yea!!1

Close Fibromyalgia
I was diagnosed in August 2007. I have a 20month old daughter and have been learning to cope with pain/fatigue and relationship issues this illness has brought on...
Treatments
- 5-HTP Somewhat Helpful
- Acupuncture Working / Worked
- I think it helped...but started that at the same time I started Lyrica and vitamens. My meridians did balance out though.
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- Pain has gone from a 10 daily to abt a 3... and that's only occaisonally. I feel much better since the starting of Lyrica 150 mg/at night.
- Ultram Not Working
- Didn't work that well... and it was EXTREMELY physically addictive. Took MONTHS to wean off. Withdrawal was awful...
- Vitamin B12 Working / Worked
- Helps for fatigue
- Provigil Too Soon to Tell
- Started 200mg pill today for fatigue. I have a headache now. I was denied health insurance due to FMS and this medication is 12 ppill!!!!
- Clonazepam Working / Worked
- I take .5mg at night to help me get restful sleep. However I am tired during the day...this could be a side effect.
Close Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
I was drugged and raped by a friend. The subsequent treatment of me by the police-- My case was bungled/mishandled. I re-lived it over and over for the police,supervisors, internal affairs,DA,boyfriend, etc. (All of which were callous and treated me in a way that was morally irreprehensible.)"2nd wounding." I have only been treated through medication but am now in counseling trying to 'remember' and trying to cope with the triggers (places, loud noises, when I see someone who resembles him).

- Helped for heart palpatations. Take occasionally when I feel panicky.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- Finally talking about this issue in counseling. Never talked about it before. Only talked abt depression/anxiety... never addressing the source could be the PTSD...

- Read empowering books. Learned a lot about the legal system and I hope I can help someone if they need it...

- Talk to my best friend Jenilyn who was there for me throughout the whole trauma.

Open Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
I have Fibromyalgia and am quite certain that I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as well. I have been avoiding admitting to myself that that's probably what it is. I barely feel like I can get out of bed sometimes... which is kind of hard with a full-time job and a 2 year old!!!

I have had 2 doctors tell me they think I likely have MS. I am uninsured and only 26 years old! I don't even know where to go from here.
