The kids stopped over for a few hours and then headed off to home just now. A great walk to the diner, a simple lunch, then back here.
So they're gone, and so is the remote, lol. Dejavu as last time when Luke our little 15 month old grandson decided to play hide and seek with it. A few days later we found it in the wood bin in the entry. Hmm.. not there this time, so he's ahead of us again.
So we just finished a frantic search thru the whole house (this isn't easy at our age). Sadly, it's gone somewhere. So hubby is taking a nap to avoid getting up to change channels and I'm on the puter... nothing better than denial!
Tv is gonna be good tonight so off I go looking for it .... keep you fingers crossed please *s*
Love and hugs...!

LOL, I remember the lost items all too well. My girlfriend was visiting one day and left her car keys on the floor. Joshie got ahold of them and after a frantic search, she just happened to open a drawer of a, for lack of a better word, book shelf and there they were. We couldn't believe he put them in there. You might want to try some low level drawers just the right height for little hands. Just a thought. Good luck.

hi Terrie... when my son got home we were finally able to talk to him and his wife and ask if they had picked it up when they were packing. I had found some old cell phones for them so our phone wouldn't be dragged around like last visit, lol.
Nope they didn't have it. Then after 2 hours of searching we found it behind the tv, totally hidden. We called the kids back to tell them the good news and little Paige, 3 pipes up in the background, proud as punch... oh I hid it there from Luke. geeze!!!!!!!!!!
The funny part is, my daughter came last night. She didn't know anything was lost, but asked because she and hubby had made a bet that something would happen. And then she saw the bank she'd given us all put together with bonding cement, another Luke catastrophe and she burst out laughing. There goes grandma's house for sure in a year or so!
