we survived babysitting thru our bronchitis, that wasn't easy. But the baby is safe and sound back home with her parents and we're ready for some serious goofing off!
The doctor called and said it's only bronchitis from the x-rays so that's good news. But it still feels like breathing thru a very tiny tiny tiny sippy straw! Can't complain, everyone else is sick and we can sympathize for sure.
Tomorrow I have a fashion show luncheon with some co-workers from the past. It's a JC Penney's thing and always nice, and especially better since it's near the beach. Can't go wrong with that combination of clothes and shore.
Hope all of you are staying well and getting ready for a happy Easter and more.
Love, Flo

I'm here reading journals and whatnot on DS, and just really catching up.
We've been busy babysitting our little granddaughter Ellie 5 days a week, which is a great chance for hugs, kisses and loving. She's our little cutie for sure and love her huge heart which always offers smiles at the least little one we offer.
In between that all of us have been struggling with the flu, colds or bronchitis. I finally got to the doctor and have bronchitis again and feel like I've been run over by a truck, several times *s*! Breathing is miserable but must be on some better level cause here I am typing.
I just wanted to pop in and give a warm hug and hello and tell you all how much you mean to me.
Lots of love, and hope you're all doing a little bit better each day ... Flo

For the longest time I've been doing physical therapy and accupuncture. The PT ended a month ago, while the accupuncture is still going on. This week my back finally gve out on me. This just isn't right lol ! Like all of you gals and guys on DS, we're all doing our best to get better, and that sure isn't easy lots of times.
After doing it all, I finally asked around and found a massage therapist. There really are a lot of them in this area, but they're so expensive. I figured it's worth a try and would scrimp it out of the budget, if that's what it's called, lol. It's $70 for the hour, oh well, guess I can eat bread the rest of the week!
With table, blankets, pillows, cd, cd player and more in hand, in came Maria. And what a massage! I'd been told it would be a deep massage and it truly was. So I'm planning 3 more visits hoping that the massages will break up the knots or whatever is causing my back to go out.
I'm not saying it was a miracle and I got off the table jumping and dancing but I did get off the table without pain, so that's a good thing. It's too early to tell if this will help in the long run or not. I'm for sure hopeful that a little bit at a time, my back will be stronger. Oh boy, hopeful and frustrated, what a combination *s*!
Hope you are all doing better... lots of warm and gentle hugs..!

Sounds wonderful! Maybe I should try that. My chiropractor suggested massage at one visit but the one who works in her office is a guy!!! Not sure I'd want a guy working on me!!!

Glad baby is doing OK. Looks like you are still winning the battle with the chest infection. It is amazing how much get up and go...gets up and goes when we get sick. LOL Sure hope you enjoy your social plans but remember to rest . Hugs Marie

Hi, I had not talked to you in a long time. Just read another good book and wondered if you liked her, Lisa Jackson. I gave the last one that I read to a friend a work and she is reading it right now. She already is in love with this author. Well, hopefully you are having a good summer. Things are about the same around here. I am starting to have trobles with seizures again but think it is just med problems, will see the doctor this month. Take care,Cindy
