Hug
Hi Kathy. Glad to hear from you. I am sad, it is the first Father's Day without my Dad. I miss him so much. My Mom who has dementia and End State Lung disease has been unstable and weak, I am trying to get her to be more active, but she is slowing down so much. I have to balance any activity with rest and am pratically homebound. My sister's are supportive on the phone everyday, but I have the main caregiver responsibility and I would not change it for a moment, but it would be nice to have them stay with me for a week or so at a time. Oh, well hope you are doing okay and your Dad is stable. What I would not do to have my Dad here today on Father's Day!!! Thanks for your hug and I am sending a hug back. jrmom
Prayer
Small world I too live in N.C. right out by Mocksville. My mother-in-law has this dreadful thing too. Seems like no one in the family really wants to admit even though they know it's true. With Much Caring :) Sue

Close Teen Anxiety
My 13 year old step daughter was told by one doc she has ADHD & her therapist says it is general anxiety disorder (GAD) She has moved 15 times & has been to 16 schools & is only in 7th grade. We hired a tutor, but she is not turning in her work, talking during class, & getting in trouble with her (third)step-dad at home. They want to put her on MORE meds (on Ritalin) & I don't know how to help her. When she is with her Dad & me at our house (2 hours away) she seems happy. HELP!
