I had a heart attack 1/26/07 and a catherization on same day to put a stent in for a 100% blockage, then another cath a week later, for another blockage and stent. I have two sons, 20 and 22, am a retail clothing store manager and the only thing medical up until that point was rare migraines.

i had a heart attack 1/26/07 and they did a catherization, which led to having a stent put in, since the artery was blocked 100%. A week later, I had to go back because of chest pains, and have another cath done... an artery with 70% blockage was found, and another stent was put in. Somehow, the second blockage was missed the first time. I am at home recovering for awhile, and will do a stress test before they tell me what I can do.

I have had hemiplegic migraines for 2.5 years, and they are controlled mostly by daily meds. They can be aggravated by sinus headaches, and my allergies and low blood sugar.

Open Heart Attack
I had a heart attack 1/26/07 with no prior problems because of a 100% blockage of the right artery. They put in one stent, then a week later after more issues, discovered a 70% blockage in the left artery, and put in a stent there. I have had several more trips to the hospital to correct breathing problems caused by meds, and my low low blood pressure, and they found a congenital heart defect, which is causing heart spasms, when stressed or tired, now that the heart is somewhat damaged.
