30 years of migrines.Retired Dental Assistant. Homemaker, gardener, avid reader.Small energetic and slightly underweight.Love dogs, have four. Two hunters and two lap dogs. Married 3 kids and 6 grandkids in Alaska. We moved here 3 years ago. I thought the change in climate improved migraines at first but not so. We have extreme weather changes and migraines are somewhat worse and more frequent.

Close Migraine Headaches
Appears to be barometric. Preventivies do not work. I have three choise of triptans and sometimes nothing works.one day to 14 of duration.3 or 4 month or several weeks with none.
Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful
- Caffeine Somewhat Helpful
- Topamax Not Working
- Lost too much weightcaused lethargy
- Zomig Somewhat Helpful
- usually works, but will rebound
- Frova Working / Worked
- Works if taken very early , but rbound common
