I was born very early and was very sick. my mommy and daddy didnt know what to do and the dr's said put me in an institution. they ignored my medical care and abused every way possible by my parents and comming to terms w/ that. now its almost impossible to catch up with all the medical stuff and everything I missed out on. I'm a private police officer by trade, incomplete Para, autie etc..

My name is JJ and I'm Autistic and so is my little sister Leslie. I've had a hard time throughout my life people have always wanted me to be more like them, more 'normal' but did not stop to realize that maybe on my own level I was content and that being Autistic is so much deeper that outward manifestations of behavior and communication. But sadly Autism is very complex and a mystery to most people and being autistic myself I dont know how to explain it and I dont want people to hate me.

ABA did the opposite of what my mommy & daddy planned.

Pets Working / Worked

I find animals especially doggies bridge the gap in what people say are my social/emotional ineptitudes & Decidedly lacking effectiveness of my verbal communication no matter how hard I try.

Picture / Word Schedules Working / Worked

I'm a visual learner and a do-er. I don't do book learning. I'm illerate to a very strange end. I can read legal briefs etc but as far as recreation I can only read simple books like 'clifford' and that makes people mad and confused.
