I’m With You
Good to hear from you! I tried the Lyrica back in November and it did seem to help wtih the pain, but it helped soo much, i was unable to function. lol And yes, i have noticed that fast foods and pop isn't good at all. That's about the time we began our diet. Another thing that I am unable to do very well is to be in big crowds. My bp goes up, I get axiety, and here comes the pain. So I have tried to limit my activities. Including shopping and sporting events. I haven't done any of that since Oct. I'm going to give it a try, gotta go see my Braves play here soon. But I will ask about the Cymbalta, which is my understanding that it helps with pain and depression as well. Is that right? I'm currently on Celexa 40 mg for anxiety/depression and xanax 1mg. And of course the Percocet 10's which my doc seems to love giving me lately. I do still have a few Lyrica, but I dont know if it would be helpful since i have to have a good amount of it to work. I just might ask him about that as well. Thank you soo much for your "I'm with you". Yes, one day, and hopefully sooner than later, we will get over this awful mess. Sending u hug, luck, flowers, high five, prayers......they should let us check just more than one. Take care and let me know how you're doing. You'll remain in my thoughts and prayers.

I myself have or am struggling with the aftershock/pain of the shingles. I got them last October. It was nasty. I had rashes until December. The pain is still lingering, and at times it's beyond painful. what would u suggest? the doctor is okay with giving me pain meds, but after soo long, they don't work. Do you have any suggestions? How is ur progress coming along?

- Allegra Working / Worked
- Actually Allegra-D-had to have the D for drainage-esp at night. Worked great. Will go back to it if new Xyzal does not work.
- Allergy Shots Somewhat Helpful
- I had shots for about 7 years in my mid twenties. That helped me not to have symptoms during the winter months (my less severe months anyway). I just turned 40, and started shots again last fall. Dr says I will probably be on them several years again this time.
- Clarinex Not Working
- Didn't even touch my allergies.
- Flonase Somewhat Helpful
- Helped but I felt it was very inconvenient and when I'm sneezing all the time, how much really gets where it's supposed to be and stays there?
- Singulair Somewhat Helpful
- Somewhat helpful but WAY too expensive.
- Zyrtec Not Working
- Didn't even touch my allergies.

- I have lots more patience now with my 3yr old than I did with my now almost 19yr old. I think because I am older and have been thru everything with her so I know better what works and what doesn't. Getting upset DOESN'T WORK!
