About Me
I am a stay at home mom of two. My son is 5 1/2 with ODD and is probably gifted, they don't want to test him for at least another year. He is a very sweet and loving kid when everything is going his way. It has taken me a while to understand that his behavior is not my fault, but I want to find a way to help him because over 1 hour tantrums in his room is not a fun life for anyone in our family. I want to meet other parents who are experiences what I experience to realize I am not the only one going through this. I want to talk to people who understand what I experience everyday and do not blame me for his actions.

Close Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
I have a 5 year old son who was just diagnosed with ODD. We have been in counseling for over 6 months and it isn't really helping. I have recently started doing my own research on the internet and in reading book and would love to talk to other parents dealing with children like my son.
Close ADHD / ADD
My son was just diagnosed with ADHD today and we will start him on either adderall or focalin soon, so I am hear to see what other say about ADHD and the medications.
