WOW! I survived the Holidays and my birthday! phew! One more year and I'm over the hill. *lol I have been busy with work, laying out kitchen remodels. and then the year end junk for taxes. But, I'm ok, my kids are doing great. We got to go to the Cotton Bowl and watch the Razorbacks play. That is if that is what you could call it. We got stomped on! but my kids loved going to the big stadium and they got to stay with their cousins in TX. It was a nice short visit. It's never long enough when we visit with my sister-n-law. I love her so much and we always have so much fun. My husband learned that his brother, the one we take care of, would be fine for a few days without seeing him. Dan worries about him constantly. He has Schizo-Affective disorder and is medicated. Dan is his guardian.
My daughter is starting an exercize program this week with my extra child (my neighbor's girl) and they are very excited about it.
I'm staying busy at work but I just wish we had more busines. I love to remodel kitchens and baths and also new construction. Our area has been hit with new construction in the last two years and all of a sudden the bottom dropped out. Now with the interest and recession that seems to be in the air, I'm a little worried. Hopefully people will want to remodel the existing homes a little more.
My husband wants me to start my jammie business, as if I didn't have enough to do. I'm desprately trying to find fire resistant flannel material to make my creations but between work and everything else I don't have much time to search. I tried to search through the web and was bombarded with everything but what I was looking for. Search engines give too much information.
Well..... I guess that is about all.. if I think of anything else and I have a few, I'll log it. I hope veryone has a wonderful day and week and I want you all to know that I do keep an eye on you even if I don't necissarily post anything. Good to hear an update from you. I am like you, I don't post regularly, but do come on here every so often to see how my friends are doing. I hope your bro-in-law is doing not too bad. Meds are so important. I wish you the best in whatever endeavor you undertake. So what kind of 'creations' are you into? As for the remodelling business, I am going to remodel my kitchen this spring (I remodelled my livingroom last spring/summer). My kitchen is pretty small, so not quite sure how to go about it all. I know I need to put in new cupboards and remove the wall panelling that is in the bottom half of my kitchen wall. We did put in a new floor (tiles) a couple of years ago and it is neutral in colour, so I can pretty well go with any color scheme. Anyway, you take care and good to hear from you.
