Well my Internet has finally been restored to "normal" so I can come back here and actually read some things and comment now.  I so hate my Internet provider, can you believe we pay $62/month for the crap service I get?  It is a crime!  I don't have any other options out here in the country so I'm stuck with wildblue.net which I highly recommend YOU AVOID!  It is all I have for revenge is to openly bad mouth my ISP and hope my complaints are heard and read and they send me a letter of apology with a fat cash back reward!

We had a hard frost out here on Friday night so my garden is pretty much done now.  I have a bunch of peppers to cut up today and freeze and then I can officially say I'm finished.

I'm planning another trip to KY this month and I may leave later on in the week although, I have been thinking of postponing until Halloween weekend.  I can't remember the last time I got dressed up and went out on Halloween.  Hmmm....now that I type that though it does not sound like a lot of fun, getting dressed up and hanging around a bunch of drunken ghouls and so...I think I should stick to the original plan and just go later this week.

On another note, someone stole my OBAMA sign from the road.  FUCKERS!  What nerve!  The Obama sign I got for my niece and her boyfriend was stolen too.  My only hope is that the peeps that steal these signs do it so they can support their candidate without paying for the sign.  Perhaps I should steal McCain signs and burn them in our pit?  grrr  I thought that living out in the country would ensure my sign would BE safe but I guess I live in LaLaLand when it comes to such things.

I started a fire downstairs yesterday and so...I guess the weather has officially changed and my time and energy can shift from garden things to making wood and keeping the wood burner going.  Our furnace seems to be on the blink and is only blowing cool air, not good!  My Father will be out later today to check it out and I hope it is something small.  Furnaces are expensive and I just assume keep our money for something a little more fun.

Not much else is new with me.  Life is fairly steady and calm and my health is fine, which is good, but it doesn't make for very interesting journal enteries!  LOL
