Type: Open AdoptionWe TTC for 3 years. I had two surgeries and numerous fertility treatments and miscarriages. Our last ditch effort was IVF after my last surgery to remove fibroids, I had a pulmonary embolism which put me in ICU and for 17 days. We made the joint decision to abandon all plans to continue pursuing pregancy. We immediately moved forward with the adoption process and have been waiting since Nov 2006. We have had 3 failed attempts but, we know that the Lord will bring our little one to us.

Open Parenting Newborns & Infants (0-1)
I received a 3 day old male foster baby who in 1 week has become the light of our lives. He is the most beautiful thing that God has created. I am suffering from new mommy syndrome, no sleep, neglecting myself, stealing a shower, having puck on my clothes and not caring. DH and I are wondering where our sex life went that fast. I guess we will find it once we're all in sync. All in all, I loving it.
