Sometimes I really hate working for a penny pincher!
I've been waiting over 3 years to get a new work cell phone (which the company covers) …
I can't garuntee that there will be any updates to follow. Honestly, I don't even know who would be bothering to read this in all …
Get out! My Dr has the disease, his wife has it, he uses more natural approaches which is helpful, but I see a pain Dr who prescribes Vicoprofen..helps a lot..I totally understand where you're coming from.
Retro a little-in 2000 needed narcotics, on a lot of meds, went to a new gyno who wanted me off all of them to try to start from scratch to see what was causing what-long term hysterectomy pain..it was good, but the pain was still there-put me in medical detox! OMG It's really tough to get through..now I'm still on narcotics, 8 years later..I think some Dr's are afraid to prescribe too much medication which makes it hard to manage, bc one drug does one thing, and the other does another and before long what is doing what?? Hang in there! Keep searching for an answer no matter how many dr's it takes to get what you need girl, take in what they say and apply it to your own situation. I was put in an outpatient intensive phych program bc they said it was all in "my head". It's so unfair. Just because they can't measure the pain, you must be imagining it...what a bunch of bunk. unbelievable. Support from TX..hugs, Kim T
I was told I had fibro in 2000 but it's been with me for alot longer. Up untill last October (I was living in the only ciry in Iowa, Des Moines) and was being treated by a pain specialist. things were good, I just didn't know how good! He gave my medication I took it and was able to function well enuogh to do the dishes, and laundry etc. but because my 4 kids lived in Waterloo. I decided to move there and but a house. Fibro was one of the main reasons I got my SSI. Now it's been a year and I have pretty much fallen apart, The doctors here don't give narcotics. The only one that I'm not allergic to or throw up on is vicodin. I went from Doctor to doctor and they all said the same thing no. And I have recently found out that not one of those doctors even requested my medical records from Des Moines. I am gonna go call him now cuz I may have found a doctor that actually cares. I'll let you know. Also know that you are not alone. Peg

I started having severe indigestion problems at the early age of 13, and it has continued with me.
Began having problems with anxiety by the age of 13, beginning of our teenage years. It has stuck with me since then... General Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Panic Attacks. Some days are better then others, over the years I have grown more capable of handling myself better with and with out the aid of medication or types of therapy.
Diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. This has been effecting me since mid childhood, prior to my teenage years.
I think OCD has been part of me for all my life. But it really took hold while I was pregnant. Fear of germs and having to always be organized and working things to my exact ways.
My 8 yo DD has displayed all the signs of ODD since age 4. We've been through the ropes of trying to get a good diagnosis and help for her.
