  HI AMY, YOU REALY LOVE YOUR MOM. SHE IS BLESS TO HAVE YOU. I SEE SO MANY JUST DROP A FAMILY MEMBER OFF AT MY FACILITY NEVER TO SEE THE FAMILY MEMBERS AGAIN. I HOPE THE DAY CENTER WORKS OUT FOR YOU. SHE WILL MAKE NEW FRIENDS AND LOOK FORWARD TO GO THERE AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT HER WHEN SHE IS THERE.   HI DOGLADY2, NICE TO HEAR FROM YOU.ITS VERY HARD TO GIVE YOU DAYCARE ADVICE AS IN MAINE , THERE IS NOT MUCH FOR DAYCARE FOR PEOPLE WITH ALZEIMERS. WE DO TAKE WEEKEND RESIDENTS CARE FOR THOSE WHO NEED OUR HELP FOR THE WEEKEND. THIS GIVE FAMILY MEMBERS A CHANCE TO SEE HOW THEIR FAMILY MEMBER WILL ACT WHEN THEY NEED FULL TIME PLACEMEMT. WHAT IS YOUR MOTHER'S CONDITION ? IS SHE TRYING TO WANDER OUT THE DOOR BY HERSELF? DOES SHE RECOGNIZE HERSELF IN THE MIRROR? HOW IS HER SPEECH? DOES SHE STAY DRESS? IS SHE INCONTINENT? DOES SHE TRY TO USE APPLIANCES BY HERSELF? DOES SHE JUST PLAY WITH HER FOOD OR DOES SHE EAT WELL? IS SHE COMBATIVE TOWARD HER CARE? THESE ARE VERY IMPORTANT QUESTIONS. THAT WILL HELP ME TO SEE WHAT MIGHT COME NEXT FOR YOU. SHE COULD PLATO WHERE SHE IS AT FOR 2 YEARS OR SHE COULD CHANGE QUICKLY.   Hello DogLady2!!! I'm sorry it's been so long since I've talked to you. It's finally fall. My favorite time of the year. I can't handle the intense heat of summer. I'm glad it's over. I've been busy these last few weeks. Issues with my heart. It turns out that my heart is fine. Went through many tests. Best wishes my good friend.
