Thanks For the Hug and Welcome..You family is Beautiful! Yes i see we do have in common with our youngest children..she is now 4 1/2 months seems to only have the spots and lisch nodules for now...I pray for her everyday that her case will be mild as well....Have a great day dear, and take care. Close Neurofibromatosis
Hi! I want to introduce myself to the group in support of what you all are going through. My son, JC, was diagnosed with NF at around 2 months old...he's soon to be 12. He has a mild case so far but does have the optic glioma. He has the cafe au lait spots and an LD, but is otherwise healthy and active so far. My older son does not have NF and no one else in the family seems to have it. We have MRI's once a year at Duke University and follow-up exams as well. God Bless.
