Open ADHD / ADD

I am a single mother of 3 kids all of whom have a different diagnosis, my eldest is almost 8 and she has EXTREME ADHD with very high impulivity and hyperactivity, my middle child has add...she is pretty well behaved but dont have much of an attention span she is 6 and in kindergarden for the 2nd time , then there is my son, he is 5 and has mild ADHD, and extreme ODD with very strong aggressive behavior,lol ,and people wonder why i am on anxeity meds....

Adderall Working / Worked

we tried this with my eldest , it worked for the 1st 3 weeks then seemed once her body got used to it we had to up the dosage, needless to say we discontinued this med.

Clonidine Somewhat Helpful

i have been using this for my eldest and youngest(both on stimulant meds) to help them relax and go to sleep at a decent hour, it works but after some time the dosage needs to be upped also.

Daytrana Not Working

we tried the daytrana patches for only 1 week , it was as if they were on no meds whatsoever!

Focalin Working / Worked

2 of my children take low doses of this mid day to hold them over until they get home at 6pm

Metadate Working / Worked

i have 2 children on this and i have to say ... it works wonders once you get the right dosage!!!!

Ritalin Working / Worked

have used it, and it worked well for those "right now" times, but i prefer the time release.

Strattera Working / Worked

my middle with ADD takes this and it seems to help her attention span well , but given to my eldest...the one who has the extreme ADHD, even after 2 months... dont help at all!

Vyvanse Not Working

i tried this 1 day for my son , it was given to him at abou 4pm and the poor kid didnt stop racing thru the house, cleaning his roon , talking , speeding , but calmly, his thoughts were clearly racing , he didnt get to sleep until about 4am that day !!! never again ~
