There are certain times of the year that are particularly hard.  Christmas being one and Mother's Day another.  My mom left us all too soon.  I miss her so much, but Mother's Day makes the pain of her loss that much more.  I so wished she had lived to see her granddaughter graduate from college and to see the beautiful young woman she has grown into.  I wish she could have met my daughter's fiance'.  I hope she hasn't seen the man dad has become since she left us.  He has caused so much hurt by his actions.  It is unfortunate that he is so selfish that he will never realize how much he has lost by not nurturing the relationships with his two daughters and three grandchildren.  When I look back, it's hard to imagine our family as it is now.  We were once so close...for years and years.  Mom was the glue that held us all together.  Mom would be proud of the bond that her two daughters have.  I can't imagine life without my sister.  What a wonderful gift my mother gave me.  Mom, I love you!!!!
