Yesterday morning we woke up and Jack asked if I was having a birthday party. I told him no, and we went about our morning. A little while later I went into the living room where he had been playing and I got the cutest surprise. He had taken his chairs from his "Chairs" game (kinda like Jenga) and put them around. He took a coaster from the coffee table and made a table top. He took a milk jug cap and a soda bottle cap and made me a two tier birthday cake in the center of the table. He then lined up some more chairs around his makeshift table and sat some of his Pez dispensers around as guests. When I asked what he was doing he told me that he made me a birthday party.

God, I love that kid!
