A little about me.
Well, I am a 33 year old that has major back issues. I found out I had degenerative disc disease, and arthritis. I have …
Murphy's Law has been alive and well for me! It's been a most interesting few weeks around here. It started with the computer. The modem decided to quit working. A week or so later, the new modem arrived. That got the computer going for a whole day! ha! The internet provider decided to run updates, and we had high winds. Somehow between the two, there was no computer service here for about 3 weeks. Didn't know I was such an internet person until that happened. Moving on to the next event....during the holidays, my trusty, dusty furnace decided it wanted to be visited by a repair person. After several phone calls, I found someone that could handle that one! Thank goodness it wasn't very cold for those couple of days! And since all things happen in threes, there was one more event to occur. It was very strange....about half of the electrical outlets and switches in my house decided not to work. The biggest obstacle on this one was that it happened 2 days before Christmas! ha! In the somewhat small city where I live, that one took a week to find an electrician that wasn't on Christmas vacation! ha, ha, and ha! As it turned out, the problem was in a basement light. The wiring had to be redone in the light fixture. The amazing thing was that the light was still working. Everything past the fixture on the same breaker had been knocked out by the wiring in the light. Go figure. Since this last event, I think things are finally starting to get back to the normal little rut that I live in! I'm so happy to be back in my little rut! Bumps in the road really mess with ya! Hope everyone on here had a great holiday season, since I missed everyone on here during the holidays!
