Thanks so much. I will hang in there and you too. I put a post on the "financial challenges" about this asking a question about if I should appeal this decision or not, and you wouldn't believe what people said to me. Last time that I put any personal info on there, people got in a heated discussion and I think one person actually said that if you can work an hour a week laying in bed as a customer service rep you can still work? I was floored. I just went on there for support and got a serious backlash, also they did not know the specifics of the past 15 years of me dealing with this, its crazy. Just be careful what you post on there or anywhere on this crazy blog, cause seems like some people are not there for support, just to critisize. (Im horrible with spelling) Anyway, thanks for keeping in touch and you make sure to hang in there. Tania

I am 45 yrs of age; have a spinal fusion, foot drop, stenosis, scoliosis, arthritis, sciatica, chronic pain. I try to keep an upbeat attitude cos there's no other way to be!
Treatments
- Bedrest Working / Worked
- Epidural Injection Working / Worked
- dont think I want to try that again!
- Flexeril Working / Worked
- Heat Working / Worked
- sometimes helpful; usually alternate with ice packs
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- usually works well
- Ibuprofen Working / Worked
- sometimes works
- Stretching Working / Worked
- helps when changing positions, especially early in the day.
- Walking Somewhat Helpful
- walking is great for strength building and even better to uplift my spirit!
Close Chronic Pain
Have had back surgeries that have led to chronic pain and am always looking for new pain mgmt suggestions!

- This works well
- Lyrica Not Working
- Tried with no success; not taking now

- Use occasionally sometimes helpful
Open Fibromyalgia
Was recently diagnosed with fibro; a result of spinal problems

- Have 2 heating pads and use them both sometimes!

- didn't work very well because of side effects
