Close Lupus
Found out that I may have lupus in Feb of 2007 but not officially diagnosed until Jan of 2008. Diagnosed with Hypermobility Syndrome at the same time. Last year was awful, figure I was in a flare for most of the summer because of major skin, cognative and joint issues. Now waiting to get on another med as I reacted to Plaquenil.
Treatments
- Plaquenil Not Working
- I ended up reacting to this, breaking out in a majorly itchy, head to toe rash.
Close Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome
Diagnosed with Hypermobility Syndrome in January at the same appt where I was diagnosed with Lupus. I have heard that they are overlapping EDS 3 (now Hypermobility type) and HMS.
Open Hypermobile Syndrome
Was diagnosed with HMS in Jan of this year although obviously have been hyper all my life. Was diagnosed with lupus at the same time. My fingers are the main issue although everything seems to really loosening up quickly now. Hyperextending my elbows and feel my right leg popping regularly. Major pain and tiredness but not sure if that's the HMS or Lupus.
Treatments
- Naproxen Somewhat Helpful
- Definately have good days and bad so not sure if its working or not.
