Mother's Day Remembered
As Mother's Day approaches, you know I miss you so.
Why did you have to leave me,
I was not ready to let you go.
Memories of yesterdays fill my empty heart.
A tear streams down my cheek, because we are apart.
I fill a bucket full of tears with memories of you.
I'm happy that I had you, grateful most times too.
Special occasions seem bittersweet, now that you're not here.
You watch closely from above, saying you are near.
Even though I may not see you, I know you're here for me.
Gently whispering in my ear, carry on for me, and be the best that you can be.
I loved you in life so dearly, yet God has called your name.
So in death, I do the same.
With a smile on your face, you know, you are in the right place.
I know, and I've been told, God has a master plan.
Someday I only hope I will understand.

You can close your eyes and pray that she'll be back, or you can open your eyes and see all she has left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her, or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her and only that she's gone, or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back, OR you can do what she'd want: SMILE, OPEN YOUR EYES, LOVE AND GO ON.

a Star iz Mother's kiss goodnight. The gentle breeze is Mother's
gentle touch....smell of flowers is mother's fagrance...chatter of
birds is Mother's laughter.
