Open Pet Bereavement
July 21, 2006 at 2:30 a.m., I was in another country on vacation. However, I felt something not right. I was physically ill (nauseated) for two days. My father came to feed him (and his sister, Gracie, who is alive and well) and he thought Jerone was just sleeping. I am just now coming to terms with it, but I'll never get over it. He was my baby boy, my child, my son. He talked to me. He played fetch. I'll always miss him. I love you, Jerone.
