January &, 2008 is the day that changed my life. Thats the day I had GB surgery. I have lost 140 and weigh 140. I have had absolutely no complications and highly recommend weight loss surgery for people like me....morbidly obese. I thank god everyday.and I will pay it forward for the rest of my life

How wonderful for your daughter to say that to you. Isn't that the best thing, for your child to be proud of you? And shopping for size 6 or 8? Wow, what a decision, hehe. You have done an amazing job! It inspires me to want to continue on to lose even more. Have a great day!

Thanks for your advice on lifes leftovers, I have felt that way for a long time and do not want to settle anymore!

Susanf48, I am not sure how to take your reply. I really feel like you were telling me to 'get over it'. This is a support group and tell someone that they are nagging, basically ungrateful, and unthankful is not being very supportive. I am in no way nagging my husband. He loves me and wants me to be happy and see myself the way he sees me. I do know that I have been given a wonderful gift and I want to be able to embrace it to the fullest. And so you know, I have the biggest heart. I am after all a counselor and try my best to help others. I give, give, give and really feel it is my turn to say I need some help. So if I am taking your reply wrong, then I apologize. But I don't think I am. I do know that my mother told me if I didn't have something nice to say not to say it at all. Having a big heart is watching how you word things and come across when you think you are trying to help. You will be in my prayers.

Close Gastric Bypass Surgery
I had my surgery on January 7th 2008 at Westchester Med. Center in NY. I am so proud of myself! I have lost over 140 pounds and the best part is that it's 140 pounds thats never comin' back!!!!!
