i am the only one in my family with this horrible disease.I was born and raised in NY and now live in CT. My family remains in NY.They are the ones closest to me that understand the difficulties of Crohn's. So im glad i found this site.

- Asacol Somewhat Helpful
- was on it for a while with my previous specialist.flare ups and side effects such as skin rashes,bloating to name a few.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- when i was on high dosages such as 60mg i felt great,increased appetite and weight gain were very welcome for me.Most doctors agree not good for long term use.Gradual reduction of dosage is usaully prescribed..when i get down to 5 or 10mg i have flare ups and have to increase doses.
