Michael attends a mainstreamed school. I bring him in every day because a lot of times the teachers aren't in the room and his aide is doing bus duty. After 7 months of doing this the principal stopped me today on the way to his room and tried to take Michael back to the main hall where the kids are and he panicked. I was so frustrated and asked her what seems to be the problem and she said that Michael needs to stay with the other kids, I explained to her that he always goes in before everyone else to get settled in before all the kids and distractions get there. She backed off and thankfully Michael's teacher came out to find him because he wasn't in the classroom yet. It told the principal that this is what we do and she said that if she had to do it for one parent she had to do it for all. It told her that if anyone has a problem with it that I would explain the situation with them and go from there and she said it had to go through her first. So I don't know if someone complained or if she was just trying to be in control of the situation. Needless to say that I ended up at the school 3 times that day, mostly just to aggrivate the sitatuion because, she needs to know that I am going to be there all the time no matter what child or what time, because if they need something I have the luxury to be there. Last I looked I carried them for 9 months and have raised them, I should have some say. Oh an the other thing is that they could be fined because they don't have an aide with Michael first thing in the morning and I have no said a word to them about that. I have the time to bring them in so I do. Oh happy days!
