This last week has been a week from hell. I had to tell a patients family that the patient had died, and I had to do it again, the next night a patient a severe fall and we had a medical emergency for him. The week before on two consectutive days two patients had further strokes. All I can say is that I need my holidays. My last holidays were spent in hospital having ECT, and then changing medication, so I don't know when my last holiday was. Next week I am driving to Victoria to see family. The reason I am driving is that I can take Copper and I have a car so I don't get stuck anywhere. Besides that, I like the three day drive from West to East.
