Close Smoking Addiction & Recovery
I have to quit smoking, I have COPD and was told if I don't stop I could develop enphasema. I am afraid to quit but know I have to. I am allergic to the patch and cannot tolerate most medications. I know I have to quit cold turkey. I have read alot of your comments and have read whyquitnow.com. I am looking forward to quitting very soon. Thank you all for your inspiration.

- Chantix Working / Worked
- I could not tolerate it,my glands swelled up instantly
- Easyway To Stop Smoking Not Working
- I read the book and at the end he said if you still want a cig read it again,I didn't
- Nicotine Gum Not Working
- tastes so bad,I only chew it for 5 minutes and have to spit it out
- Nicotine Patch Somewhat Helpful
- It was working but I became allergic within days and the doc said I have to remove it
- Nicotrol Inhaler Not Working
- made me cough
- Support Groups Somewhat Helpful
- I went to 3 different groups,very helpful advice and handouts but only wanted to give products which I am allergic to.
- Wellbutrin Not Working
- I ended up in the emergency,completely allergic to this medication
Close COPD & Emphysema
I have COPD and would like help in dealing with this, I also need to quit smoking as I have smoked for 40 years
