I have been a typist, a secretary, a waitress, a factory spray painter, a truck driver (yes, 18-wheelers), a bookkeeper, and now an accountant. I went to night school for a lot of years and finally graduated college at the ripe old age of 54, Class of 2005, B.S. in Business. In my last semester, I started having a lot of trouble walking in a straight line and retaining information for tests. Symptoms sound familiar? Turns out it was not a menopausal or aging thing, it was my second MS attack. Happy Graduation, Lady! I have a husband of 37 years, 2 grown kids, and 2 adorable grandsons. I also have a great full-time job that keeps me distracted from my MS troubles. I figure I can always fit wheels under a desk, if the "MS train" leads me down that track (provided my BRAIN and EYES hold out). Life is blessed for me in many ways, I ain't complaining.

Besides trying to practice on all of the "B.S" I learned in college, I like politics, finance & stocks, history & family, family, family!

I love you Miss Margie!
After being formally diagnosed on my birthday, 2007, I realized that it was more of a relief to find out it was MS for sure and not wonder or think it was all in my imagination. I suffered from all of the weird symptoms on/off for 8-10 yrs. Nothing stuck until 2005, when my right leg suffered damage. Right now I just walk funny with that "drop foot" thing. Luckier than many so I won't complain. I work full time, sit at a desk (lucky again). It keeps me distracted-I often forget I have MS.
