While wandering around the Web, I found the pic of the Flux Capacitor that I'm currently using as my a/v. Got me to thinking about how wonderful it would be to be able to go back in time...
One thought led to another... and I found this:

The following poem was written by one Marti R., a student in Ms. Jones' 3rd grade class.

Time Machine
I like to travel, back in
time, to the time of
pirates, rats, rubies, and gold,
and snatch a diamond,
under a pirate's nose, and
fight and fought, in the
Civil War, and shake hands
with George Washington, and be
a servant, for King Tut, and
fly on a pterodactyl, in
prehistoric times, and
dance, on the disco floor,
and sing along with
Elvis, I'd love to do all
that, but I haven't invented
a time machine yet.

I know how she feels...

Going to add a short poem of my own - it's a bit of a work in progress. Not holding out much hope for a 2nd stanza... (gentle laughter).

How slowly the hours pass,
How quickly they fly.
It's been this way for me
Ever since you said Good-bye.

I like it, the idea of time travel is such fun in and of itself. I wanna be a citizen of Athens

I wanna change my past... correct a few mistakes, eat a large sundae... you know, the usual things one does when one goes back in time. LOL
