I had doppler scan there was nothing serious in left leg What happened was I bruised or injured a vein in top of skin and it had a knot was blue and sore swollen but after staying off my feet and wearing support hose and no drinking caffiene and putting warm wet compresses on spot its healing thank God its not in pain unless its touched hard looks yellow now knots gone down . I do believe fluid retention and perscriptions I was taking made it worse. Im on no meds but over counter now so its better . Maybe I should be the dr haha , we know our bodys better than drs do. my pains are bearable off meds but I want energy to lose weight and help my legs and pains . I lost 11 lbs so far pushing myself to work hard but I still have messed up sleep frm meds i was on sleep half the day can only work afternoon then im exhausted and sore again . Forgot what feeling rested was . I do sleep deep when im asleep just dont ever feel rested though.dr screwed me up on meds but she had given me perscription for vitimins eventhough all my blood work was great a blessing there at 55 not haveing high cholestrol or blood presure or debetic are a blessing. so im counting the good things and trying to overcome the tiredness and pains

When my father was 16, he broke his hip and had to ride in a train box car many miles to get it taken care of. He ended up with one leg shorter than the other. All my life, i saw that man go through numerous surgeries because of knee problems and i've seen him on crutches, with canes, and nothing "free walking". He made his own rehabilitation equipment with sand bags and pulleys. When I was complaining one day about how my legs hurt from "growing pains" i remember him telling me "i live with pain every day of my life" and i've never forgotten that. This is a man that helped raise 4 kids, got up and went to work everyday, did as much as he could around the house, and i never once heard him complain. During the last years of my mothers life, he drove her two hours each way three days a week to her dyalisis treatments. He did this for 5 YEARS!!! through snow blizzards, freezing temperatures, no matter what! One day while trying to help my mom into the van, she slipped and he tried to catch her, causing himself a DOUBLE HERNIA! that required surgery. And i never once heard him complain. This man has the patience of a saint, and the tending nature of a 'true man'. So when i hear about other 'men' like your husband, it makes me want to retch (sorry)! My dad is now 82 years old with minor heart problems but still doesn't let even that stop him. Your husband should be ashamed of himself!!!! Maybe he should read this... and feel guilty. Lots of hugs and kisses to you girlfriend, thanks for letting me vent. Deb :o)
