Just an Update
It's been quite some time since I've logged on...doing well and hope the same is true for all.
I continue to be impressed at the level of …
Goal: Continue to be surprised by the things I thought I knew, but didn't. Occupation: I'm a psychotherapist and browse this site and support groups to recommend to my patients. Often, I will join a support group in order to participate in the dialogue. For instance, though I do not have borderline personality disorder or HIV, I belong to thier support groups. I have many HIV patients and quite a few patients with borderline personality disorder as, I often work with PTSD in adults who were physically or sexually abused as children; often, adults who experienced childhood abuse, due to a shattering of thier boundaries, do suffer from borderline personality. I will likely join more groups and, as you may know, when you look at a persons profile, you will see all of thier "support groups" listed on the right.. So...In the event that a new patient should be browsing this site at my suggestion and run across my profile, they will likely think that I'm the one in need of therapy. lol...everyone could use a little therapy once in awhile, including myself, but, as stated above, I belong to support groups to participate in lively conversations and , from time to time, offer a little (off the clock) , professional support.
