I too went through the same thing with my Dad and It is hard trying to keep their spirts up while trying to keep your own spirts up for him. That is the hardest thing to do-Just help your Mom and be there to give her support-because she needs you just as much as your Dad does-God Bless
I have had F.M.S for over 3 years now. Luckly i was diagnosed within 7 months, however I knew beofore and told the doctors myself. Apparently my symptoms did not match a diagnosis as my g.p said at the time. I have had to change my work from Social Work due to amount of stress. I cotinue to struggle with work but am determine to keep going for as long as possible. I have come a long way since I first became ill and I am still learning to adapt to my different life.
I have had T.M.J for many years since I was a child. Doctors thought it was sinus problems and took some time to diagnose. I have very little relief from it and I am try to learn to relax my jaw during the day as I do clench them often.
I have had restless leg syndrome since having Fibromyalgia. I dont have it all the time but occassionaly from time to time.
Was diagnosed with I.B.S around 5/6 years ago. It is generaly managed by medication and healthy eating. However of course stress agverates it. I find during a flare up I get exhausted.
My dad got diagnosed in January after he ended up in hospital on boxing night due to severe stomach pain. After his un expected operation he ended up in intensive care. He is now having Chemotherapy but is now having side efeects. Recently we also found out that my granmp also has the same cancer.
Lost my Dad Monday to cancer. God, my heart hurts so so much.
