The painting on the right side really strikes me. Its quite a classic type setting up such a common situation into a 1000 emotions that make us wonder.
I love the shapes and color. How the legs are reflected at the bottom. The left side is so soft, feminie, inviting, yet darker things lurk, the pleasing, the pleading. The right is so dominating male, rigid, unaccessible, inprisoning, expectant. And the food ties it all together as offering of peace that never comes.
Its dark and darn good.
