Thats very sad news.
Jazzy (Fantail) was a honey.
I will sure miss her.
Thankyou very much for letting me know.
I am coming to terms with what De Meirlier told me last week. More than half my results were in the red. My Th1 and my Th2 are way out of wack (no suprize) so my Th 17 is out of wack too and subsequantly my RNaseL is very low and not regenerating quality cells. De Meirlier reiterated CFS is a Gastro - Immuno - Neurotoxic disease (in that order). He's going to publish in the new year. His science is impecable. Pitty the USA isnt pluged into his findings. De Meirlier, Dr Sarah Myhill and Dr Garth Nicholson are the leading researchers at the moment. I went to a conferance with my family (M & D and Nel) that De Meilier addressed those gathered on the contempory ME/CFS global research efforts and current CFS treatment/managment. He said there is about 50 different types.
De Meirlier's research is all centered around what drives the H2S and NO blood gas levels to extreams which in turn cause serious bacteria overgrowths in the gut, (Enterococcus and Streptococcus and 3 other overrepresented bad bacteria marked by increased LPS) and the interrelationship with Th1, Th2 balance and its effect on Th17, RNaseL, Mitocondria and other interrelationships. I personally think he has 75% of CFS mapped. His new book published next year will tell all. His plan for me is all about healing the gut. When I apealed to him that I (of little understanding) had to convey all this brave new science to my Militry attorney and The department of Veterans Affairs he took pitty on me and said Alistair I will send you my slides (PDF's). He then added "Al, al the bioMedical Professors in Europe are waiting for me to send themsh these slides.

I will miss Jazzy as well Al....she was precious to me. She suffered greatly after the death of her beloved husband, and I don't think happiness ever returned to her after that. They are together again, now!
I know that to most of us what Dr. De Meirleir is difficult to understand, at least you are able to get the benefit of his research and treatment! I think it's wonderful! And I just pray that he is able to help you in a way that no one has before!!!
God bless you Al!!!
